न्यासवर्णनम् (Nyāsa-varṇanam) — Description of Nyāsa in the Saṃnyāsa Procedure
पूर्वाद्युत्तरपर्यंतं दलमूलेषु पार्वति । आदित्यो भास्करो भानू रविश्चेत्यनुपूर्वशः
pūrvādyuttaraparyaṃtaṃ dalamūleṣu pārvati | ādityo bhāskaro bhānū raviścetyanupūrvaśaḥ
おおパールヴァティーよ、東の方より北の方に至るまで、花弁の根元において、太陽神を次第にその御名—アーディティヤ、バー スカラ、バーヌ、ラヴィ—として安置し(あるいは観想し)なさい。

It teaches ordered contemplative placement (anupūrvaśaḥ) within a lotus-like meditative scheme, showing that cosmic powers such as Sūrya are harmonized as supports within Shiva-oriented worship, guiding the mind toward disciplined dhyāna rather than scattered devotion.
In Saguna upāsanā, surrounding deities and powers are invoked as limbs of a structured worship (āvaraṇa/nyāsa-like contemplation). Here, Sūrya’s names are positioned at the petal-bases, while the central aim remains Shiva-realization—auxiliary devatās serve the Shiva-centered rite rather than replacing it.
A lotus-petal visualization/nyāsa: mentally (or ritually) assign the Sun’s names—Āditya, Bhāskara, Bhānu, Ravi—at the bases of petals from east toward north in sequence, maintaining steady attention and purity of mantra-focused worship.
