इन्द्राय सोम पातवे मदाय परि षिच्यसे । मनश्चिन्मनसस्पतिः ॥

índrāya soma pā́tave mádāya pári sicyase | manaś cín manasas pátiḥ ||

ソーマよ、インドラが飲むため、また高揚する恍惚のために、汝は注がれ、四方に流れ広がる。汝は意(マナス)の主マナスパティであり、意さえも汝に統べられる。
