अयमिन्द्रो मरुत्सखा वि वृत्रस्याभिनच्छिरः । वज्रेण शतपर्वणा ॥
ayám índro marútsakhā́ ví vṛtrásyābhinác chíraḥ | vájreṇa śatáparvaṇā ||
このインドラはマルトの友、百の節あるヴァジュラ(vajra)をもってヴリトラ(Vṛtra)の頭を裂き砕いた――塞ぐ結び目を断ち、力と光明の流れを自由に走らせるために。
