वृकश्चिदस्य वारण उरामथिरा वयुनेषु भूषति । सेमं नः स्तोमं जुजुषाण आ गहीन्द्र प्र चित्रया धिया ॥
Transliteration
vṛ́kaś cid asya vāraṇá urā́mathirā́ vayúneṣu bhūṣati | sémam naḥ stómaṃ jujuṣāṇá ā́ gahī́ndra prá citráyā dhiyā́ ||
Translation
彼の狼のごとき守護の力、広く揺り動かす勢威でさえ、諸々のはたらき（ヴァユナ）において喜びを得る。ゆえにこの我らの讃歌を嘉し、来たれ、インドラよ。多彩なる思慧の光をもって前へ——道を整え配する、照明の知性を携えて。
