Sukta 8.36
प्राव स्तोतारं मघवन्नव त्वां पिबा सोमं मदाय कं शतक्रतो । यं ते भागमधारयन्विश्वाः सेहानः पृतना उरु ज्रयः समप्सुजिन्मरुत्वाँ इन्द्र सत्पते ॥
prā́va stotā́raṃ maghavann áva tvāṃ píbā sómaṃ mádāya káṃ śatakrato | yáṃ te bhāgám ádhārayan víśvāḥ sehānáḥ pṛ́tanāḥ urú jráyaḥ sám apsu-jín marútvān índra sat-pate ||
歌う者を護れ、恵み深き者よ——また汝自身をも（われらを汝の座として）護れ。百の力を持つ者よ、歓喜（マダ）に向けてソーマを飲め。汝のために定められたその分け前によって、あらゆる戦いに勝ち、広く進む力を得、深みの水の中においても勝利せよ——インドラ、真実の主よ、マルットを伴う者よ。
