यः समिधा य आहुती यो वेदेन ददाश मर्तो अग्नये । यो नमसा स्वध्वरः ॥
Transliteration
yáḥ samídhā yá ā́hutī yó védena dadā́śa márto agnáye | yó námasā svadhvaráḥ ||
Translation
薪（samidhā）をもって、供物（āhutī）をもって、ヴェーダの知（veda）をもってアグニに仕え、また礼拝（namas）をもって捧げ与えるその人間――自ら統べ、まっすぐなる祭（svadhvara）を行う者――その者は内なる火の正しき護りへと入る。
