Devata: Indra (with Soma as the offered power)

दधामि ते मधुनो भक्षमग्रे हितस्ते भागः सुतो अस्तु सोमः । असश्च त्वं दक्षिणतः सखा मेऽधा वृत्राणि जङ्घनाव भूरि ॥

dadhā́mi te mádhuno bhakṣám ágre hitás te bhāgáḥ sutó astu sómaḥ | asáś ca tváṃ dakṣiṇatáḥ sakhā́ me 'dhā vṛtrā́ṇi jaṅghanāva bhū́ri ||

われはまず汝の前に甘き滋養(madhu)の食を供う;汝の分け前はすでに定まりぬ——ソーマ(Soma)は搾られよ。しかして汝は右に坐して、わが友となれ;そのときわれらは多くの障り(vṛtrāṇi)を踏み砕かん。
