अतारिष्म तमसस्पारमस्य प्रति स्तोमं देवयन्तो दधानाः । पुरुदंसा पुरुतमा पुराजामर्त्या हवते अश्विना गीः ॥

atā́riṣma támasas pā́ram asyá práti stómaṃ devayánto dádhānāḥ | purudáṃsā purutámā purājā́m amartyā havate aśvínā gī́ḥ ||

われらはこの闇を渡り越え、その彼岸に至った。神へ向かう希求のうちに、応答する讃歌(ストーマ)を据え置く。言葉の歌(ギー)はアシュヴィンを呼ぶ——多くの働きを成し、最も豊かで、古く生まれ、不死なる者たち——光明の助けの力を携えて来たれ。
