Transliteration
o śruṣṭír vidathyā sametu práti stómaṃ dadhīmahi turāṇām | yad adyá deváḥ savitā suvāti syāmāsya ratníno vibhāgé ||
Translation
おお、聖なる集会（vidatha）に属する聴聞の力よ、ここに集い来たれ。われらは迅く進む力々の前に讃歌を据える。今日、衝き動かす神サヴィトリ（Savitṛ）が施与を動かし始めるゆえ、われらがその光の宝の分配に与る者となりますように。
