उतो घा ते पुरुष्या इदासन्येषां पूर्वेषामशृणोॠषीणाम् । अधाहं त्वा मघवञ्जोहवीमि त्वं न इन्द्रासि प्रमतिः पितेव ॥

utó ghā́ te puruṣyā̀ íd āsan yéṣāṃ pū́rveṣām áśṛṇo ṛ́ṣīṇām | ádhāháṃ tvā maghavan johavīmi tváṃ na indrāsi prámatíḥ pitā́iva ||

まことに、あなたのものこそ人の助けであった。あなたは先なる聖仙(ṛṣi)たちの声を聞き入れた。ゆえに今、施与者よ、われはあなたを呼び求める。インドラよ、あなたはわれらにとって導く配慮、賢き先見—父のごときもの。
