आ यस्ते सर्पिरासुतेऽग्ने शमस्ति धायसे । ऐषु द्युम्नमुत श्रव आ चित्तं मर्त्येषु धाः ॥

ā́ yás te sarpir-āsuté ’gne śám asti dhā́yase | ā́ eṣú dyumnám utá śrávaḥ ā́ cíttaṃ mártyeṣu dhāḥ ||

汝のために澄明の富(サルピル)を注ぐ者よ、アグニよ——汝の据え立てる力(dhāyase)には安らぎ(śam)がある。ゆえにこの人々のうちに、光輝の充溢(dyumna)を、また霊感の聞こえ・名声(śravas)を、そして目覚めた心(citta)を据えよ。
