स स्मा कृणोति केतुमा नक्तं चिद्दूर आ सते । पावको यद्वनस्पतीन्प्र स्मा मिनात्यजरः ॥

sá smā kṛṇoti ketúm ā́ náktaṃ cid dūrā́ ā́ saté | pāvakó yád vanaspátīn prá smā minā́ty ájaraḥ ||

彼はまことに光の徴(しるし)を形づくり、夜にあってさえ遠くより見られる。浄める者、老いなき者は、進み出て森の主ら(樹々)を裂き開き、秘められた炎を解き放つ。
