यद्बंहिष्ठं नातिविधे सुदानू अच्छिद्रं शर्म भुवनस्य गोपा । तेन नो मित्रावरुणावविष्टं सिषासन्तो जिगीवांसः स्याम ॥

yád baṃhíṣṭhaṃ ná ati-vídhe sudānū́ ácchidraṃ śárma bhuvanásya gopā́ | téna no mitrāvaruṇāv aviṣṭaṃ siṣā́santo jigīvā́ṃsaḥ syāma ||

最も広く、越えられぬ庇護——欠け目なく、裂け目なき安らぎ——それによって汝らは世界の守護者たり。ミトラとヴァルナよ、その庇護をもってわれらを守り、つねに求め進む者として、生命において勝利する者とならしめよ。
