समत्र गावोऽभितोऽनवन्तेहेह वत्सैर्वियुता यदासन् । सं ता इन्द्रो असृजदस्य शाकैर्यदीं सोमासः सुषुता अमन्दन् ॥
sam átra gā́vo ’bhíto ’navanta hehā́ vatsáir víyutā yád āsan | sáṃ tā índro asṛjad asya śākáir yád īṃ sómāsaḥ suṣutā́ ámandan ||
ここに、子牛から引き離されていたとき、牛たちは四方に集まり、鳴き交わした。インドラはその力(シャーク)によって彼女らをひとつに集め、解き放った——よく搾られたソーマ(Soma)が彼を歓喜させたときに。
