Sukta 5.27

Devata: Agni Vaiśvānara (with praise that also frames a bountiful lordly power; donor-context with Tri-aruṇa)

यस्य मा परुषाः शतमुद्धर्षयन्त्युक्षणः । अश्वमेधस्य दानाः सोमा इव त्र्याशिरः ॥

yásya má̄ paruṣā́ḥ śatám uddhárṣayanti ukṣáṇaḥ | áśvamedhasya dā́nāḥ sómā iva tríyāśiraḥ ||

その御方において、百の剛き力が――壮牛のごとく――われを高く押し上げる。そのアシュヴァメーダ(馬祭)より生まれた施与は、三重の力をもつソーマ(搾汁)のごとく湧き立ち、うねり上がる。
