चिकित्विन्मनसं त्वा देवं मर्तास ऊतये । वरेण्यस्य तेऽवस इयानासो अमन्महि ॥
Transliteration
cikitvínmanasaṁ tvā deváṁ martā́sa ūtáye | varéṇyasya te’vása iyānā́so amanmahi ||
Translation
見抜く心をもつ神よ、われら死すべき者は汝の助けのために汝を心に念じた。選び取らるべき者（vareṇya）の庇護を求め、われらは汝へと向かい、内において同意した。
