Sukta 2.22
त्रिकद्रुकेषु महिषो यवाशिरं तुविशुष्मस्तृपत्सोममपिबद्विष्णुना सुतं यथावशत् । स ईं ममाद महि कर्म कर्तवे महामुरुं सैनं सश्चद्देवो देवं सत्यमिन्द्रं सत्य इन्दुः ॥
trí-kadrukeṣu mahiṣó yávāśiraṃ tuviśúṣmas tṛ́pat sómam apibat víṣṇunā sutáṃ yáthāvaśat | sá īṃ mamāda máhi kárma kártave mahā́m urúṃ sá enaṃ saścad devó deváṃ satyám índraṃ satyá índuḥ ||
三つのカドゥル（Trikadru）の搾り場にて、雄々しき大いなる者、広大な力をもつ者は、意のままに、ヴィシュヌ（Viṣṇu）により搾られ、大麦を和したソーマ（Soma）を飲んだ。かくして彼は歓喜し、偉大なる業、広く強きわざを成さんとした。真実のソーマは真実のインドラに随い、神は神に寄り添い、神は神に結ばれた。
