वयमग्ने अर्वता वा सुवीर्यं ब्रह्मणा वा चितयेमा जनाँ अति । अस्माकं द्युम्नमधि पञ्च कृष्टिषूच्चा स्वर्ण शुशुचीत दुष्टरम् ॥
Transliteration
vayám agne árvātā vā su-vī́ryaṃ bráhmaṇā vā citayemā jánāṃ áti | asmā́kaṃ dyumnám ádhi páñca kṛ́ṣṭiṣū́ccā́ svàrṇá śuśucīta dúṣṭaram ||
Translation
アグニよ、われらは力の駿馬によって、あるいはブラフマン（brahman）の威力によって、人々の限界を越えて高く昇りたい。われらの光り輝く栄光が五つの部族の上に立ち、太陽の真実の光のごとく高く燃え上がれ――攻め難く、越え難きものとして。
