सोदञ्चं सिन्धुमरिणान्महित्वा वज्रेणान उषसः सं पिपेष । अजवसो जविनीभिर्विवृश्चन्त्सोमस्य ता मद इन्द्रश्चकार ॥
Transliteration
sodañcaṁ sindhum ariṇān mahitvā vajreṇāna uṣasaḥ saṁ pipeṣa | ajavaso javinībhir vivṛścant somasya tā made indraś cakāra ||
Translation
彼はその偉大さによってシンドゥ（Sindhu）の流れを上へと反転させ、ヴァジュラ（vajra）の雷槌でウシャス（Uṣas、曙光）の車を打ち砕いた。速きものらによって遅きものらを断ち切り——これらをインドラはソーマ（Soma）の法悦の中で成し遂げた。
