इन्द्रो वलं रक्षितारं दुघानां करेणेव वि चकर्ता रवेण । स्वेदाञ्जिभिराशिरमिच्छमानोऽरोदयत्पणिमा गा अमुष्णात् ॥
Transliteration
índro valáṃ rakṣitā́raṃ dúghānāṃ karéṇeva ví cakartā ráveṇa | svédāñjibhir ā́śiram icchámāno ’ródayat paṇím ā́ gā́ amuṣṇāt ||
Translation
インドラは轟く咆哮とともに、搾り出される富を守る守護者ヴァラ（Vala）を、象が鼻で裂くように引き裂いた。汗する力で養いの精髄を求めつつ、彼はパニ（Paṇi）を泣かせ、光線（gā）を奪い去った。
