ता अस्य ज्येष्ठमिन्द्रियं सचन्ते ता ईमा क्षेति स्वधया मदन्तीः । ता ईं विशो न राजानं वृणाना बीभत्सुवो अप वृत्रादतिष्ठन् ॥
Transliteration
tā́ asya jyéṣṭham indriyáṃ sacante tā́ īmā́ kṣéti svadháyā mádantīḥ | tā́ īṃ víśo ná rājānaṃ vṛṇānā́ bībhatsúvo ápa vṛtrā́d atiṣṭhan ||
Translation
それらは彼の最上の威力、すなわちインドラの力に寄り添う。それらはここに、自らの法（svadhā）によって歓喜しつつ住まう。民が王を選ぶように、彼を選び、ヴリトラ（Vṛtra）の覆いを退けて、それから離れて立った。
