अश्वावति प्रथमो गोषु गच्छति सुप्रावीरिन्द्र मर्त्यस्तवोतिभिः । तमित्पृणक्षि वसुना भवीयसा सिन्धुमापो यथाभितो विचेतसः ॥
Transliteration
áśvāvatī prathamó góṣu gacchati suprā́vīr índra mártyas tavóti-bhiḥ | tám ít pṛṇakṣi vásunā bhávīyasā síndhum ā́po yáthābhíto ví-cetasaḥ ||
Translation
馬に富む者は、牛（光）の群れのうちにまず進む。インドラよ、汝の助けによって強められたその死すべき者を。汝は彼を、いよいよ大いなる財（vasu）で満たす――識りつつ流れる水が、四方より河を満たすがごとく。
