Sukta 1.43

Rishi: Kutsa Āṅgirasa (traditional for RV 1.43)

शं नः करत्यर्वते सुगं मेषाय मेष्ये । नृभ्यो नारिभ्यो गवे ॥

śáṃ naḥ karaty árvate sugáṃ meṣā́ya meṣyè | nṛ́bhyo nā́ribhyo gávē ||

彼はわれらに安寧をもたらし——われらの力の駿馬に善き道を開き、牡羊と牝羊に、男たちに、女たちに、そして内なる光の牝牛(ガヴィー)に、安らかな通行と正しい運行を与えたまえ。
