त्वे इदग्ने सुभगे यविष्ठ्य विश्वमा हूयते हविः । स त्वं नो अद्य सुमना उतापरं यक्षि देवान्त्सुवीर्या ॥
Transliteration
tvé íd agne subhagé yaviṣṭhya víśvam ā́ hūyate havíḥ | sá tvaṃ no adyá su-mánā utā́paraṃ yákṣi devā́n su-vī́ryā ||
Translation
まことに汝において、アグニ（Agni）よ、幸いなる者、神々の系譜にて最も若き者よ、あらゆる供物（havis）は呼び招かれる。ゆえに今日、われらに慈しき心（sumánas）となり、われらのために諸神（deva）を祭りて招け、さらに大いなる英雄の力（suvīrya）をもたらせ。
