आ धेनवो मामतेयमवन्तीर्ब्रह्मप्रियं पीपयन्त्सस्मिन्नूधन् । पित्वो भिक्षेत वयुनानि विद्वानासाविवासन्नदितिमुरुष्येत् ॥

ā́ dhenávo māmateyám avantīr brahma-priyáṃ pīpayán sasmínn ū́dhan | pítvo bhíkṣeta vayúnāni vidvā́n āsā́ āvivā́sann áditim uruṣyét ||

養う牝牛たちが来たる——マーマタの子を助けつつ——この乳房にて、ブラフマンを愛する者(brahman-priya)を満たす。飲み終えて、知る者は識別の道(vayunāni)を乞い求めよ。口をもって礼拝し、アディティ(Aditi)—無限の全体—を広げ、守り立てよ。
