Transliteration
īḷé dyā́vāpṛthivī pū́rva-cittaye ’gníṃ gharmáṃ su-rúcaṃ yā́mann iṣṭáye | yā́bhir bháre kārám aṃśā́ya jínvathas tā́bhir ū́ ṣú ūtíbhir aśvínā ā́ gatam ||
Translation
われは天と地を讃え、古き覚知の目覚めのために；またアグニ（Agni）を讃う、燃ゆる熱、麗しき光として、願成就へ向かう旅路において。汝らが歌い手の業を養い、歓喜の分け前へと励ますその助け——その迅き護りをもって、アシュヴィン（Aśvins）よ、ここに来たれ。
