ममपुत्रोममभ्राताममभर्तारणेहतः ।।।।इत्येषश्रूयतेशब्दोराक्षसीनांकुलेकुले ।
mama putro mama bhrātā mama bhartā raṇe hataḥ |
ity eṣa śrūyate śabdo rākṣasīnāṃ kule kule ||6.95.22||
「わが子が討たれた、わが兄弟が討たれた、わが夫が戦場で討たれた」——そのような叫びが、羅刹女たちの家ごと、族ごとに聞こえてきた。
