Indrajit–Lakshmana Battle and the Rallying of the Vanaras
तेहयामथिताभग्नाव्यसवोधरणींगताः ।।6.90.51।।तेनिहत्यहयांस्तस्यप्रमथ्य च महारथम् ।पुनरुत्पत्यवेगेनतस्थुर्लक्ष्मणपार्श्वतः ।।6.90.52।।
te nihatya hayān tasya pramathya ca mahāratham | punar utpatya vegena tasthur lakṣmaṇa-pārśvataḥ ||6.90.52||
彼の馬を討ち、その大いなる戦車を打ち砕くと、彼らは疾く跳び返り、ラクシュマナの傍らに陣取った。
The horses were mutilated, broken, and sunk into the earth and killed. Again, bounding the great chariot, they got up quickly and stood nearby Lakshmana.
Steadfast support of the righteous cause: the allies act decisively to remove an immediate threat and then return to protect Lakṣmaṇa, reflecting duty-bound solidarity in battle.
In the fight against Indrajit, the allies destroy his chariot and horses; immediately afterward they regroup and position themselves beside Lakṣmaṇa.
Loyalty and readiness: quick action followed by protective presence at Lakṣmaṇa’s side.
