हरयोपिमहात्मानोददृशुर्नेरृतम् ।।।।हस्त्यश्वरथसम्बाधंकिङ्किणीशतनादितम् ।नीलजीमूतसङ्काशंसमुद्यतमहायुधम् ।।।।दीप्तानलरविप्रख्यैस्सर्वतोनैरृतैर्वृतम् ।

Transliteration

harayo 'pi mahātmāno dadṛśur nairṛtam | hastyaśvarathasambādhaṃ kiṅkiṇīśatanāditam | nīlajīmūtasaṅkāśaṃ samudyatamahāyudham | dīptānalaraviprakhyaiḥ sarvato nairṛtair vṛtam ||

Translation

大いなるヴァーナラの戦士たちもまた羅刹の軍勢を見た――象・馬・戦車がひしめき、幾百の鈴の音が鳴り渡る。黒き雨雲の塊のごとく、巨大な武器を掲げ、四方は火と太陽のように燃え輝く羅刹に囲まれていた。
