Trisira’s Counsel and the Slaying of Naranthaka
अभिनिष्क्रम्यमुदिताराक्षसेन्द्रामहाबलाः ।।।।ददृशुर्वानरानीकंसमुद्यतशिलानगम् ।
abhiniṣkramya muditā rākṣasendrā mahābalāḥ | dadṛśur vānarānīkaṃ samudyataśilānagam ||
意気高く進み出た強大な羅刹の首領たちは、猿族(ヴァーナラ)の軍勢を見た——戦いに備え、岩石や巨岩を掲げて投げ放たんとしていた。
Departing from there the Rakshasa army saw Vanara army ready with many rocks.
Dharma in war includes readiness and resolve; the vānara host’s preparedness reflects committed protection of a righteous cause rather than aggression for its own sake.
The rākṣasa leadership advances and visually confronts the prepared vānara formation armed with stones and mountain-fragments.
Steadfast readiness—being prepared to act decisively when duty calls.
