अथान्यद्वपुरादायदारुणंरोमहर्षणम् ।निष्पपातमहातेजाःकुम्भकर्णोमहाबलः ।।।।धनुःशतपरीणाहः स षट्छत्रसमुच्छ्रितः ।रौद्रःशकटचक्राक्षोमहापर्वतसन्निभः ।।।।

Transliteration

athānyad vapur ādāya dāruṇaṃ romaharṣaṇam |

niṣpapāta mahātejāḥ kumbhakarṇo mahābalaḥ ||6.65.40||

dhanuḥśata-parīṇāhaḥ sa ṣaṭchatra-samucchritaḥ |

raudraḥ śakaṭacakrākṣo mahāparvata-sannibhaḥ ||6.65.40||

Translation

そのとき、大威光にして大力のクンバカルナは、恐ろしく身の毛もよだつ別の姿を取り、躍り出た。胴回りは百張の弓ほど、背丈は六百張の弓ほどにそびえ、猛々しく、眼は戦車の輪のごとく、巨大な山のようであった。
