巨躯にして轟く声、剛力の者が飛び立たんとするとき、ラーヴァナは吉祥なる祝福の言葉をもって送り出した。
Kumbhakarna, of huge body, of loud voice and highly capable having been dismissed by Ravana, went with the great army after benediction and started observing.
The verse reflects the social dharma of sending a departing warrior with blessings—an acknowledgement of responsibility, fate, and the gravity of violence.
Rāvaṇa formally dispatches Kumbhakarṇa to the war, marking the transition from counsel and preparation to direct combat.
Public duty and resolve: the warrior is portrayed as formidable, while the sender performs the customary act of benediction.
