Rāvaṇa’s Assault on Nīla and Lakṣmaṇa; Hanumān Bears Rāma
तामापतन्तींभरतानुजोऽस्त्रैर्जघानबाणैश्चहुताग्निकल्पैः ।तथापिसातस्यविवेशशक्तिर्भुजान्तरंदाशरथेर्विशालम् ।।6.59.109।।
tām āpatantīṃ bharatānujo 'strair jaghāna bāṇaiś ca hutāgnikalpaiḥ | tathāpi sā tasya viveśa śaktir bhujāntaraṃ dāśarather viśālam ||6.59.109||
それが飛来すると、バラタの弟は供犠の火のごとき矢と武器でこれを打ち砕かんとした。だがそれでも、その槍はダシャラタの子の広い胸へと突き入った。
Lakshmana, the brother of Bharata struck the fierce weapon coming towards him like flames of fire fuelled by ghee, even then it struck him on his broad chest.
