ततःप्रवृत्तंतुमुलंहरीणांराक्षसैस्सह ।घोराणांभीमरूपाणामन्योन्यवथकाङ् क्षिणाम् ।।।।
tataḥ pravṛttaṃ tumulaṃ harīṇāṃ rākṣasaiḥ saha |
ghorāṇāṃ bhīmarūpāṇām anyonyavathakāṅkṣiṇām ||
そのとき、ヴァーナラの軍勢と羅刹たちとのあいだに、轟きわたる激戦が起こった。恐るべき相を具え、互いの滅びを求め合ったのである。
