ततःसुभीमोबहुभिर्निशाचरैर्वृतोऽभिनिष्क्रम्यरणोत्सुकोबली ।ददर्शतांराघवबाहुपालितांमहौघकल्पांबहुवानरींचमूम् ।।6.51.36।।
tataḥ subhīmo bahubhir niśācarair vṛto 'bhiniṣkramya raṇotsuko balī |
dadarśa tāṃ rāghavabāhupālitāṃ mahaughakalpāṃ bahuvānarīṃ camūm ॥6.51.36॥
それから、数多の夜の徘徊者に囲まれ、戦いを渇望するあの強大にして凄まじき者は進み出た。彼は、ラ―ガヴァの腕に守られ、劫末の大洪水のごとき、無数のヴァーナラから成る विशालな軍勢を目にした。
