Garuda’s Arrival and the Release from the Serpent-Arrow Bond
आस्फोट्याःस्पोट्यविक्रान्ताःवानराःनगयोधिनः ।द्रुमानुत्पट्यविविधांस्तस्थुश्शतसहस्रशः ।।6.50.63।।
āsphoṭyāḥ spoṭya-vikrāntāḥ vānarāḥ naga-yodhinaḥ | drumān utpāṭya vividhāṃs tasthuḥ śata-sahasraśaḥ ||6.50.63||
木々を引き抜いて戦う山の戦士ヴァーナラたちは、指を鳴らして勇猛を示し、さまざまな樹を引き抜いて、幾十万とそこに立ち並んだ。
The Vanaras who can fight with trees, uprooted several trees expressing their capacity distinctly and breaking them, and cracking their fingers. Making loud noise in hundreds and thousands stood there.
Dharma here appears as disciplined readiness in a righteous cause: the Vānaras marshal strength not for chaos, but for supporting Rāma’s just mission against adharma.
The Vānara host gathers in force near Laṅkā, demonstrating martial energy and preparing to press the assault.
