चतुश्चत्वारिंशः सर्गः (Sarga 44): निशायुद्धम्, धूलिरुधिरप्रवाहः, इन्द्रजितो मायायुद्धम्
साबभूवनिशाघोराहरिराक्षसहारिणी ।।।।कालरात्रीवभूतानांसर्वेषांदुरतिक्रमा ।
sā babhūva niśā ghorā harirākṣasahāriṇī |
kālarātrīva bhūtānāṃ sarveṣāṃ duratikramā ||6.44.16||
その夜は凄惨となり、ヴァーナラも羅刹も等しく滅ぼした。あらゆる生きとし生けるものにとってのカーララートリーのごとく、越えがたく耐えがたい夜であった。
