跳躍の雄たちは進みゆき、木々をへし折り、蔓を引き裂き、行く手の名高き山々さえ打ち揺らしながら進軍した。
The vanaras (who are best among leaping animals) went smashing the trees, pulling out the creepers and purposefully destroying the mountains (on their way).
Dharma requires power to be governed by purpose; destruction without necessity becomes adharma, even for the strong.
The vānaras, overflowing with energy, surge forward and leave a trail of damage through forests and rocky terrain.
The needed virtue is discipline (vinaya/dama): strength should be directed, not merely displayed.
