ततश्शुश्रुवुराक्रुष्टंलङ्कायांकाननौकसः ।भेरीमृदङ्गसङ्घुष्टंतुमुलंरोमहर्षणम् ।।।।

Transliteration

bherīmṛdaṅgasaṅghuṣṭaṃ tumulaṃ romaharṣaṇam ||

Translation

その時、森に住む軍勢は、ランカの中から激しく騒々しい騒ぎを聞いた。それは太鼓やムリダンガの響き渡る音で、身の毛もよだつほど恐ろしいものであった。
