सागरप्रशमनम् / The Pacification of the Ocean and the Building of Nala’s Bridge
विचिन्वन्नाभिजानासिपौरुषंनापिविक्रमम् ।दानवालयसन्तापंमत्तोनाधिगमिष्यसि ।।।।
vicinvannābhijānāsi pauruṣaṃ nāpi vikramam |
dānavālaya-santāpaṃ matto nādhigamiṣyasi ||
たとえ思案しても、おまえは我が男の勇も武威も真には知らぬ。ダーナヴァの住処よ、我より来たる苦しみから逃れることはできぬ。
"You, who are the abode of demons are not aware of my valour and prowess. You are not aware of the sorrow that you will face from me."
Dharma as kṣātra-niyama (warrior duty): the righteous protector warns and then acts firmly against adharma; the warning itself reflects moral clarity and responsibility.
In the battle context of Yuddhakāṇḍa, Rāma addresses a demonic opponent, declaring that the foe underestimates his strength and will face inevitable consequences.
Satya (truthful resolve) and courage: Rāma speaks plainly about the moral and practical outcome of opposing righteousness.
