इत्युक्त्वापरुषंवाक्यंरावणंरावणानुजः ।आजगाममुहूर्तेनयत्ररामस्सलक्ष्मणः ।।6.17.1।।
ity uktvā paruṣaṃ vākyaṃ rāvaṇaṃ rāvaṇānujaḥ | ājagāma muhūrtena yatra rāmaḥ salakṣmaṇaḥ ||
かくしてラーヴァナに厳しい言葉を告げ終えると、その弟ヴィビーシャナはほどなくして、ラクシュマナと共に立つラーマのもとへと到った。
Vibheeshana, having addressed Ravana in harsh language, reached Rama and Lakshmana in a short while.
The verse supports the idea that dharma is a lived commitment: when truth is rejected in an unjust court, the righteous course is to depart and align with justice.
Vibhīṣaṇa arrives where Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa are, after addressing Rāvaṇa sternly.
Righteous independence—choosing dharma over attachment.
