「いったん欲望が満たされたなら、その後にいかなる恐れが来ようとも――すぐであれ、未来の時であれ――汝はすべてを耐え忍ぶであろう。」
"When you have fulfilled your desire, why fear? Let it happen. Let that which is yet to come, happen. You will be able to face."
The verse rationalizes wrongdoing by postponing accountability. Dharma teaches the opposite: fear of consequences is not the main restraint—inner righteousness and truth (satya) are.
A counselor minimizes the danger posed by Rāma and encourages Rāvaṇa to prioritize immediate gratification over prudent and righteous conduct.
The implied virtue is foresight and moral accountability; the counsel instead promotes recklessness and indulgence.
