Hanuman Sent Ahead to Ayodhya
निशम्यरामागमनंनृपात्मजःकपिप्रवीरस्यतदाद्भुतोपमम् ।प्रहर्षितोरामदिदृक्ष्याऽभवत्पुनश्चहर्षादिदमब्रवीद्वचः ।।।।
niśamya rāmāgamanaṃ nṛpātmajaḥ kapipravīrasya tad adbhutopamam |
praharṣito rāmadidṛkṣyā 'bhavat punaś ca harṣād idam abravīd vacaḥ ||
猿たちの中の第一の勇者から、ラーマ(Rāma)帰還という驚くべき報せを聞くや、王子の子(バラタ)は歓喜に満たされ、再びラーマを拝見したいと切に願った。そして喜びに震えつつ、次の言葉を語った。
"You may tell him of the search for Mythili by you, crossing the vast never decreasing stretch of water, leaping across and finding Sita."
Dharma is devotion to rightful order and kinship duty: Bharata’s joy reflects his unwavering commitment to Rāma’s legitimate return and the restoration of righteous kingship.
Hanumān reports Rāma’s imminent return; Bharata, overwhelmed with happiness, prepares to speak in response.
Bharata’s loyalty and purity of intention—his longing is not for power, but for reunion and the return of dharmic rule.
