細き腰の姫よ、これらはまことに苦行者たちの住まいで、ここに見えている。そしてあちらには族長アトリがいる。太陽のごとく、また火のごとく輝いている。
"See the glowing hermitage of the great sage Sutikshna. Vaidehi, see Sarabhanga's hermitage here, where the thousand eyed Indra, the destroyer of citadels (Purandara) had come."
Dharma values tapas and guidance from realized elders; the ‘radiance’ of Atri symbolizes moral authority born of self-discipline and truthfulness.
Rāma continues pointing out the ascetics’ settlements and recalls Atri’s presence as part of the exile geography.
Respect for spiritual lineage: Rāma highlights the sage as a living standard of righteousness.
