ここで、マンドーダリーという名の彼の妻が彼を嘆き悲しみ、岸辺にて千の妃たち、さらにそれ以上に囲まれていた。
"Mandodari wife of Ravana, with a thousand cowives is on the seashore surrounded by associates."
Dharma includes karuṇā (compassion) and realism: even the enemy’s household experiences grief; the epic acknowledges suffering without denying justice.
During the aerial viewing after the war, a location is indicated where Mandodarī mourns her slain husband.
Rāma’s balanced righteousness—firm against adharma yet sensitive to the universal reality of sorrow.
