evam ukto mahendreṇa prasannena mahātmanā | suprasanna-manā hṛṣṭo vacanaṃ prāha rāghavaḥ ||
かくして、慈しみ深き大魂のマヘーンドラに告げられると、ラाघヴァは心澄みて歓喜し、次の言葉を述べた。
"Subduer of enemies! See your brothers, great souls Bharata and Satrughna devoted to you who are in grief due to your separation, see your mothers. Get consecrated. People will rejoice.
Dharma is shown as composure and gratitude in success: Rāma responds to divine grace with a settled mind, preparing to ask for what benefits others.
The narration transitions from Indra’s invitation to Rāma’s reply, marking the start of Rāma’s request.
Prasāda (serene clarity) and modesty—Rāma does not become intoxicated by praise or power.
