ヴァイデーヒー・シーターとともに、信愛をもってラーマに仕えたことで、あなたは私に大いなる歓びを与えた。しかもその奉仕により、正しきダルマの果報を得たのだ。
"You have served with devotion to Rama and Sita and made me very happy. By this task you have earned the merit of righteousness."
Devoted service (śuśrūṣā) to the righteous is itself dharma and yields dharmaphala—merit that is earned through selfless duty rather than personal gain.
After the war, Daśaratha (in a posthumous appearance) praises Lakṣmaṇa for his devoted attendance on Rāma and Sītā and affirms the merit gained.
Sevā-bhāva (selfless service) grounded in bhakti—loyal, disciplined support of Rāma and Sītā.
