Illustrious Hanuman was relieved of the bond and once again grew to a mountain size. Looking around he saw an iron club near the archway.
Righteous struggle requires practical wisdom: Hanumān uses available means to oppose adharma, showing that dharma is not passive but intelligently defended.
After freeing himself, Hanumān enlarges again and spots a weapon (parigha) near the gate’s arch.
Practical intelligence and readiness—he surveys the environment and chooses an effective tool for protection and action.
