यदि मां वृत्तसम्पन्नां तत्समागमलालसाम्।।5.53.30।।स विजानाति धर्मात्मा शीतो भव हनूमतः।
yadi māṃ vṛttasampannāṃ tat-samāgama-lālasām ||5.53.30|| sa vijānāti dharmātmā śīto bhava hanūmataḥ |
「もし法を体するラーマが、私を汚れなき行いの者と知り、ただ彼との再会のみを願うと知っているなら――火神よ、ハヌマーンには冷ややかに、害なきようあれ。」
"O Fire-god! if Rama is righteous, if I am pure in mind, and if I am longing to unite with him, be cool to Hanuman.
The verse ties protection to satya and śīla (truth and integrity): moral purity is presented as a force that calls forth divine safeguarding.
Sītā appeals to Agni while Hanumān is being tormented, grounding her prayer in her fidelity and Rāma’s dharma.
