Transliteration

uktavākyaṃ tu rājānaṃ kṛpayā kuśikātmajaḥ |

abravīn madhuraṃ vākyaṃ sākṣāc caṇḍālarūpiṇam ||

Translation

そのとき、クシカの子ヴィシュヴァーミトラは憐れみに動かされ、眼前にあらわとなったチャンダーラの姿の王に、甘くやさしい言葉をかけた。
